These Terms of Service govern the use of "Coco by CocoCorp" ("Coco"), a private assistant operated by CocoCorp ("we", "us"). By signing in to Coco with Google or otherwise using it, you agree to these terms.

1. What Coco is

Coco is a private, invitation-only assistant that helps its operator read and edit its own Google Sheets, Docs, Slides and Drive files, and carry out related tasks it requests. It is not a public product and no one is entitled to access it unless the operator has authorised them.

2. Your Google account and permissions

Coco acts only within the permissions you grant on the Google consent screen and only for your own Google account. You are responsible for the files you ask Coco to change. Please keep copies or use version history for important files, since edits are made in place. You can withdraw access at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions.

3. Acceptable use

Coco must not be used to break the law, infringe the rights of others, access data you are not entitled to, or interfere with Google services or our systems. We may suspend or end access at any time if these terms are breached.

4. Your data

You keep ownership of all your files and data. How Google user data is handled is described in the Coco Privacy Policy, which forms part of these terms.

5. Availability and AI output

Coco uses artificial intelligence and depends on third-party services, so it may be unavailable, make mistakes or misread an instruction. It is provided "as is" and "as available", and outputs should be reviewed before being relied on.

6. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by South African law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of data or profits, arising from the use of Coco. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2008, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

7. Changes and termination

We may change these terms or discontinue Coco at any time. The current version is always published on this page. You may stop using Coco and revoke its access at any time.

8. Governing law and contact

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. For questions, contact us through the contact form at cococorp.tech.
